Glossary MVP

MVP

What is an MVP?

An MVP (minimum viable product) is the smallest first version that lets real users complete a real job — so you can learn and improve without overbuilding.

Definition

MVP means a usable first release with a tight set of must-have flows, not a prototype deck or a half-finished “phase 1” that never ships.

When it matters

  • You need proof with real users before expanding scope
  • Budget and time force ruthless prioritisation
  • You can name three core flows that matter most

At GujjuTicks

We treat MVP as a scoped product path — often Laravel + clear web UI, auth, admin basics, and launch — then grow from a backlog. See MVP development and the tech stack recommender.
